I think that explains it - the sense of these wonderful creatures as livestock.

You're right - they are people, particularly to people who have that ability to connect to them...

I keep thinking of Spirit, wishing that I'd wake up and find out that he was fine and was just wandering in a far corner of the pasture.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13104422629934443842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6371458020564881376.post-43951851993589165892008-10-20T10:57:00.000-05:002008-10-20T10:57:00.000-05:00Sorry for the loss of Spirit. Some people still see them that way, even though they may bond with their horses they look for practicality-can the horse jump or whatever. Not me though. You said "if spirit were a person" but my view is animals are pretty much people! Losing a horse is a tough thing to go through, one of my horses was killed in an accident in June so I know what you're going through. Again sorry for the way things worked out.GNHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15180342767762548292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6371458020564881376.post-21675857600113055612008-10-19T22:24:00.000-05:002008-10-19T22:24:00.000-05:00Thank you Trey and Kimber.
