Don't you just love good surprises, too?
I'vebeen thinking a lot about Endurance riding lately.
We are having so much fun with Competitive Trail Rides, but I think it would be fun to eventually branch out a little, too.
I can't imagine Apache doing a 50 miler, at least not until she (and I) are in much better physical shape) but maybe we can do 25 milers some day.

I'm excited to read more about your horse camping trip, too. I'm going on my first one with Apache, of course, the July 4th weekend! I have dreamed and wished for this for as long as I can remember. I've wanted to do this kind of horse-back riding from the very start. I'm so excited!

And I'm excited for you, too!

~~~~~~~
Oh and by the way, I just enjoyed this paragraph you wrote, so much. Made me smile:
"Cibolo was pretty concerned about this camping at first, calling out to the other horses for a few minutes. Apparently they had positive things to say and with his barn buddy close by he settled right in. He dug into his hay and drank some water, and he and his BFF Amigo shot the manure for a few hours as the sun continued it's glorious golden journey behind the trees."
~LisaLaughing Orca Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03562627840013868980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6371458020564881376.post-20105508546710727492010-05-31T09:30:05.904-05:002010-05-31T09:30:05.904-05:00Great post, but I need the next installment soonGreat post, but I need the next installment soonCactus Jack Splashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12241651708232327588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6371458020564881376.post-27553763374438794222010-05-31T08:25:31.528-05:002010-05-31T08:25:31.528-05:00Sounds great!
