I love the pictures but did you have to title it "Summer's End"? I don't want it to end yet! Although I do want the nice fall weather. . . but then we have the big "W"!
Beautiful pictures... I for one, am GLAD summer is ending. It is too hot to ride in the height of summer...better to have fall and winter with cooler temps which are better for the horses.
I never want summer to end. Our fall, winters and springs are nothing but rain, rain and more rain. We had a really late start on summer here, I am actually glad I had to travel to horse shows, that is how I got the summer weather I was looking for!

Summer ending is ok.. but fall should stick around until January! And Spring come in February!
Awwww! Such a beautiful post.
I like what Jeni said....please give us a longer Autumn. The summer has been so hot, we deserve some beautiful cooler weather.
We can expect our first snows to fall in early to middle October, so we barely get to enjoy a beautiful Autumn before winter moves in again.

I love the look on the horse's face in that last shot. Matches the happiness on the child's face.
