Crazy walking

Here's a video with Clinton Anderson doing crazy walking (in the first part, then it's a nicely done reining pattern - at least it looks nice from my perspective, I have no idea).

I plan on doing some more challenging crazy walking... Like he shows here.

But not at liberty and not with a horse with a fake tail.

I love to play with my horse at Liberty and it would be great to get her to do some of those tougher movements that CA does with his horse, especially the side passing, and lots of backing up and running together. I can make my mare run AWAY FROM me, but not run with me. She prefers to walk everwhere unless I make her move faster. lol!

Are you sure the tail is fake? My mare's tail sweeps the ground and will grow even longer unless I cut it. It's very thick, too.

I read a cool technique today on another blog on the proper and simplest way to trim a tail, too. Check it out:

Maddie has a gorgeous tail! ANd I love her coloring, too. Buttermilk Buckskin?
