Unfortunately, ya'll aren't keeping up with my needs. So I've had to go deeper.
I've spent some time reading some of the old posts from 1, 2 and 3 years ago by some of my favorite equine bloggers.
If you're relatively new to equine blogging, or just haven't read enough to keep you happy, here are a few older posts I enjoyed reading. There's no rhyme or reason to these choices. I've been reading for day and just decided to do this today. AND remember, I have a cold. I have no rhyme, reason, or unclogged sinus cavities:
- Nuzzling Muzzles On Horse Bonding
- 7MSN On Loco weed (I love all the burro posts, and Lyle, but combing 80 acres for plants? Yikes)
- A Year with Horses On Breathing
- Life at Star's Rest On riding Griton
- Horse crazy American in Germany On Baasha's first ride in Germany
- Literary Horse Letter to Dad Warning: tear jerker (BTW the more recent Mister Chips series is hysterical, don't miss that) And take your rider to work day.
There. That should keep you busy. LOL! If this goes another day, I'll add to the list. I'm taking a nap for now.

I went back and read that old post from my blog. I don't back-track often, so thanks for directing me there. It also gives me an idea of what kinds of posts people benefit from. This time of year most of us are so miserable with this cold weather that we just don't have those inspirational posts in us. Now I'm onto reading your other recommendations...
Thanks for the recommendations - your sick time has been productively spent! And no TV - you go, girl, we haven't had one for years and it's a great way to eliminate a mindless time sink! (and thanks for mentioning that post of mine - I've added it to my favorites)
No tv...good move.
We get two channels via rabbit ears. No, they didn't get rid of all the antennas like they said. A few of us out here in the boonies are still resisting change we(meaning we don't believe in paying to watch tv). I could get you caught up on some of the shows on fox and cbs. If not, check out my most recent posts. I have nothing to complain about weather-wise.
Thanks for the ideas--I, too, am bored and seeking blog insight to keep me out of trouble!
Thanks for the recommendations! I'd read some of them before, but others were new. Hope you're feeling better soon!
Just read "Letter to Dad" and "On Riding Griton". Wow, both moving and excellent! Heading over to check your other recommendations out. Thanks!
Hope you are feeling better.
Wow, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed some of the posts, and I'm looking forward to reading others you have linked to here.
I hope you feel better soon!
