Just want you to know

I deeply appreciate the considerate and thoughtful comments over the last several days (and weeks before). I think we all fear being chastised for our choices when we do talk honestly about the trials and tribulations of this journey with horses. Instead I've gotten so much support, I feel like I can "hear" myself and be rational.

Thanks for being here and helping me through.

On the Appy - apparently not as polished and ready for beginners as thought. TR checked him out and was not impressed. Now TR is tough to please, but calls them like he sees them. Just fyi.

We are going to NM in search of snow next month. NM bloggers, you have been warned.

Let's have Lunch!!!

Thank you, too.

Let me know the exact days you'll be here and I can talk to my friend who owns Rosie and maybe she can plan another snowy trail ride up at Oak Flats.
Lunch sounds good too!

When I talked to Donna, I basically told her I didn't want to waste her time, but that if she was unable to sell Domino, to at least consider us as a place for him to live out his days. She didn't talk about any issues or anything. But isn't that the case a lot of the time?

My trainer always says that a horse that is TRULY beginner safe, is worth his/her weight in gold. I believe her! I wish you the best :)

If you are ever in the Grandview Washington area let me know. I do have an anyone can ride horse who is worth his weight in gold, he has been teaching kids for years. We could play in the arena and you could have a fun horsie day.
I wish the appy was closer, he could come and live with Freedom and Salty.

Yes lunch! We've got a big snow storm coming in tomorrow so you should have plenty of snow to enjoy. If you come this far north, we would love to have you visit and meet the Wild Boys. Carmon

You really need to do what's best- not just what you think you should do or what you want to do. Keeping a horse you are afraid of, or can't ride, is wasting your precious riding time. Ride Lily's horse until you find the right one. Sometimes you need to follow your head and not your heart.
